Raymond A. Monaco possesses extensive experience as a design leader who focuses on information architecture along with interaction design and usability and user research for web and mobile platforms. His proven skills in creating superior digital experiences have transformed the UX framework at Fortune 50 companies like Microsoft, Amazon, REI, Boeing, Google, Citibank, Chase, and Credit Suisse through innovative solutions which enhance business performance.
At HCL Technologies Raymond performed as Senior Director and Head of User Experience where his focus was on leading extensive UX projects. His UX leadership positions at Ogilvy Interactive, RAPP, and Y&R enabled him to develop experiences that achieved worldwide resonance. The founder of Armada Digital created one of the initial web applications designed for the iPad to demonstrate his talent for foreseeing and taking advantage of new technological developments.
Raymond combines his status as an industry leader with his commitment to developing the UX sector across local and international platforms. Raymond conducted workshops for Microsoft, Corning, and Johnson & Johnson and delivered presentations at top industry gatherings like SXSW, CHI, and MIX. Raymond has made academic contributions by guiding universities to develop UX curricula and partnering to create an open-source educational framework for web professionals.
Raymond expresses his creativity across multiple disciplines and enjoys collecting video games alongside creating digital art and visualizing data. Through hackathons he led on Virtual Reality and complex financial data visualization, he shows his dedication to advancing both design and technological fields.

Raymond finds deep enthusiasm in UX design, design thinking and visual and industrial design but shows even greater fulfillment from mentoring others and sharing his knowledge through public speaking and storytelling. His greatest joy comes from teaching others and inspiring audiences while he helps empower future designer generations. Whenever he's not exploring UX design boundaries he spends his time drawing, sketching, painting, writing or playing video games.
